HMF was founded in 1970 and the transition of

farmland to a Thoroughbred breeding establishment

was begun.  Over the past decades, miles

of white board fence have been erected and painted,

pastures have been replanted and fertilized to assure

proper minerals for strong bones and numerous build-

ing projects from run-in sheds to our newest equine

reproductive center have been constructed.

The love of the horse continues to live in our hearts and the breeding and racing of fine Thoroughbreds continues to be our purpose. 

HMF began selling commercially in 1992.  Our homebreds have earned over two and a half million dollars with average crop sizes of only six to eight foals a year.
